Fallout 4 DLC Announced
Bethesda Announces First Wave of Fallout 4 DLC
I, just like most players out there, have put countless hours into Fallout 4. I completed every single thing in the game and all three endings. That being done, I shelved the game waiting for the day we get some DLC. Well, today marks it one step closer to becoming a reality.
Bethesda announced today that the first wave of DLC is on its way, beginning in March with the “Automatron” DLC. Automation is going to come in at $9.99 and is described with the following quote; “The mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious Robobrain. Hunt the down and harvest their parts to build ad mod your own custom robot companions. Choose from hundreds of mods; missing limbs, armor, abilities, and weapons like the all-new lightning chain gun. Even customize their paint schemes and choose their voices!”
Following that, the month of April Bethesda will launch a new feature called the “Wasteland Workshop” for $4.99. This add-on will bring a Pokemon vibe to the Commonwealth, where you will capture creatures and tame or pit them against others. The add-on will also sport new options for your settlements.
But the big news is coming in May of this year, in the form of a full blown add-on to the campaign. “Far Harbor” will have you traveling to a new island of the coast of Maine. The island is the largest landmass Bethesda has ever released in a DLC over all their games. The expansion will follow a new detective mission with Nick Valentine, and comes in at $24.99.
If you have the season pass all this will be yours on release day. Right now the season pass is only $29.99, but starting March 1st Bethesda is going to raise the price for new buyers to $49.99. So I recommend buying the season pass while the price is still low.
Who’s ready to jump back into the Commonwealth?
